New ySite Launch: Greater Kingsport Family YMCA
With great excitement, we'd like to announce the launch of a new ySite for the Greater Kingsport Family YMCA. This Y serves its community within the walls of its facility with fitness classes and camps and through outreach such as afterschool programs. This newly designed website is another tool that will better help this organization's members by offering an excellent online user experience.
During the development of this new ySite, the Greater Kingsport Family YMCA staff completed extensive video training with the Thrive team to ensure a smooth and efficient process for migrating content from the old website to the new one with answering questions about using the new site software. This video training process was seamless and saved a lot of time for the Greater Kingsport Y staff.

Custom Mobile-Friendly Website Design
- Greater Kingsport Family YMCA's website is responsive, user-and-mobile-friendly, and can be easily updated by staff members through a seamless content management system.
- A slideshow builder on the homepage displays various images of classes, programs, and outreach events from the Y.
- There is a grid of quick links as you scroll down the page. When members hover over the box, more information about the program and a call-to-action button appears.
- YMCA staff can easily create and add new pages to the website to promote any new wellness, camp, child care, or event programs using the web pages module.
- This YMCA also can add a homepage Alert Bar, allowing the message to display and alert members of schedule changes, facility closures, camp or registration deadlines, or updates to hours. If there are multiple alerts, the Y can display this on a single line, which condenses vertical space, and is collapsable.

- The Membership page showcases rates based on households, couples, adults, youth, seniors, etc. Interested members can get instant monthly rates and joining fees by visiting this page on the site.
- Members can access the latest News published by the Greater Kingsport Y. This is an important page on your ySite so members can stay informed about what's new and happening at your facility.
- The Member Survey is an important callout on this ySite. This survey is promoted on the site's homepage asking members to share their feedback on how the Y is doing. Members can share their feedback by answering three quick questions, and the survey results are submitted directly to the Y staff.
