Use shortcut links instead of Bitly or other URL Shorteners

By: Matt & Andy | Friday, September 10, 2021 | Website Features

Shortcut links are a great way to redirect users to specific pages without using the page's full URL.

E.g. yourymca.org/membership/applications/join.html becomes yourymca.org/join

Why use shortcut links?
  • Easier to remember
  • Better for sharing
  • Easier to speak out loud to someone
  • Fits nicely on postcards, printouts, and other marketing material
When should you use shortcut links?
  • Any link that you want to make shorter and shareable
  • Facebook, Twitter, and social media posts
  • Membership campaigns
  • Sales and marketing calls
  • Radio, TV, or YouTube video ads

Shortcut links are easy to create!
