1. Create Unlimited Forms
Member Engagement is key, by using our Unlimited Forms module you'll have a great way to collect feedback, start application processes, and register new members.
A ySite allows you to easily create forms of all types, ranging from basic e-News Sign-up forms to Contact forms to very specific forms such as a yRunner's Mileage Tracker.
Website Forms can potentially reduce the unnecessary burdens on your staff and reception desk. If your members can properly contact you via your website and/or get the answers they need online... everyone's happy.

2. Activate the Alert Bar
Notify members about closings, major changes, and other urgent announcements.
The Alert Bar is a nice tool because if there is something important to get across to your members quickly, this will show up at the very top of your website. You will also be able to choose a contrasting color to call attention to your message.

*Be careful not to overuse the Alert bar because not everything is an emergency worth posting.
We try to remind YMCA's to use the Alert Bar sparingly, in order to truly emphasize when something is an EMERGENCY or ALERT worth posting. If everything is RED ALERT HIGHEST LEVEL, then the alert bar starts to get ignored.

3. Add a yBox Pop-up window
Focus attention quickly with a carefully placed yBox Pop-up.
Many formatting options available (left/right, full photo background, icons, etc)

*Again, not be overused, we've all been annoyed by pop-up boxes in the past, but if used sparingly and properly, they can be very helpful.

4. Events, Schedules, and Calendars
Easily manage events on your website.
Whether you're adding events automatically from your Daxko account or custom YMCA events to your website, it will be easy for your team to post, edit, add images, create schedules, promote, and start registration for events of all types.
The ySite even offers integrations for Google Calendar & more.
If you have a campaign that you're trying to push, or a new registration drive for Spring 2021, you may want to consider turning on the yBox. You'll find an easy way to provide an image, title, quick blurb, and button to a registration page for example. We feel websites should be used to open up lines of communication between you and your members.
